Thanks to everyone who came out for Gowanus Open Studios over the weekend! We had huge crowds both days, lots of great conversations connecting with long time fans as well as helping new people discover the work for the first time. Bonus round was the Arts Gowanus afterparty complete with burning canal sculpture, opera singing, and the debut of the massive Gowanus artist photo mural at the end of 2nd St. and the canal.

Huge props to Arts Gowanus Director Johnny Thorton, Program Director Emily Chiavelli and the whole volunteer team at Arts Gowanus for their tireless yet inspired efforts to make this annual event a reality. Amazing job as always!

Lastly, thank you to Robyn Mierzwa at Makeville (super cool community wood shop) for hosting us again this year and thanks to my fellow artists Kasia Zurek-Doule, Judi Varnai Aronson, Judy Hoffman, and Viktoriya Basina for your camaraderie & support!
