Art Reproduction Photography

On this page you will find a selection of images from art reproduction commissions I have photographed for various clients. I have had the pleasure of working with some amazingly talented artists and it is always deeply satisfying to show off their work through photography.

I photograph all works on Phase One digital medium format backs which are known for their incredible color fidelity. I use a technical camera and lenses which produce high resolution images with perspective correction. I am available to photograph on location, or smaller to medium sized works can be dropped off to photograph at my studio. I can photograph 2D & 3D works as well as architectural and installation works. If you would like a quote for your project, please contact me for more information.

A. Holly Sphar

Fiber Artist

”In my work with portraiture, I am trying to capture an imagined visual reading of a person’s personality, memories, experiences, etc. This can be a sort of catch-all category because a lot of my work involves the face. My main medium is embroidery however I am still thinking about my pieces in more of a painterly way.” - A. Holly Sphar

Jos Prol

Sculptor, Painter

Angelica Bergamini

Mixed Media Artist

"Bergamini’s multi-layered works are informed by her ongoing efforts to create a less reactive and more responsive presence in the world. They act as the muse for meditations on the many facets of surrender, empowerment, reverence, and love that exist in ourselves and in our relation to a greater whole".

– Ivy Brown, of Ivy Brown Gallery, New York.

Jodie Lyn-Kee-Chow & Ground Floor Gallery

Brooklyn based Ground Floor Gallery asked me to capture the evocative and ephemeral work of multidisciplinary artist Jodie Lyn-Kee-Chow, who had completed an artist residency on Governor’s Island. Her work was installed in one of the historical buildings on this former coast guard base and presented an interesting challenge to capture both the kinetic nature of the work and the architectural setting which informed and became part of the structure of the pieces.

Mary Negro

artist

‘I rely heavily on gesture when composing my images. My go-to collage materials are glass, newspaper, and wire. In most of my text drawings I use colored pencil to layer streams of handwritten text across the paper, and then I contour the marks with ink. The text itself is stream of consciousness writing that continues until the image is complete. In the spring of 2020 I began a new, ongoing series of pencil drawings that feature abstract landscapes.’ - Mary Negro

Jessica Dalrymple

painter

‘My work is about how I see and value the landscape that surrounds me. Recent work celebrates nature in the city and advocates for urban green space, green infrastructure, and biodiversity. My artistic mission has two prongs; making object based artwork and creating art events that engage the community with nature. This mission stems from the core belief that connecting more deeply with nature leads to improved health and well being for all inhabitats and consequently the planet at large. ‘ - Jessica Dalrymple
